Part 57

After the second wave of fireballs, the vehicle moves onto rails. Jump onto the platform, run up the stairs, over the drawbridge, and into the cannon.

Aim the cannon at the red ring and fire. Collect the five red coins for a 1-Up or Tanooki Leaf. Jump into the next cannon, aim at the yellow ring, and fire.

Land on the winding platform around the tower. Run up it and enter the door.

After the scene, you fall to a platform with Bowser. Any deaths from here on will restart you at this point, making Star Coins effectively yours if you complete the level.

Run up toward Bowser; he'll jump ahead. Continue down the platforms, quickly moving off cracked platforms before they fall. Dodge Bowser's Spiked Balls. Bowser jumps further on when you reach the blue cracked platform.

Run up the stairs. Hit the ? Block for a Tanooki Leaf and the brick block for a coin. Dodge Bowser's fireballs. Run past the blue cracked platforms, dodging fireballs. Jump onto the tightrope at the top and move forward, stomping Paragoombas. Jump off onto the other side. Bowser jumps in front of you.

Run up the side Bowser isn't rolling a barrel down. As the barrel passes, move to that side. When you reach Bowser's platform, he jumps to a blue bridge.

On the bridge, move to the north edge, wait for a fireball, then move to the south edge. Repeat until Bowser has shot three fireballs. Run underneath him before he lands. If you miss, dodge three more fireballs, let him jump back, dodge another three, and run under when he jumps forward again.

Past Bowser, jump across cracked platforms to the next blue bridge section. Repeat the fireball dodging and running underneath Bowser.

Bowser jumps back, putting you in a gap between him and pillars. Jump over his tail as he spins clockwise to break the pillars.

Move onto the platform and hit the big black button with the red Bowser face before he fires fireballs. Bowser falls into the lava, and a blue block slides away, allowing you to run up the steps.

Partway up, Bowser appears. Keep running up the steps, dodging his blue fireballs. Jump over cracked blue platforms and up steps.

Bowser jumps to a nearby platform. Stay as far away as possible. Jump onto the platform with the first Tanooki Goomba, dodge it, and jump to the platform with the second Tanooki Goomba. Dodge it and jump onto the cracked blue platform.

Jump to the next platform and onto cracked platforms. Bowser jumps to a nearby platform and shoots fireballs. Dodge them and jump onto the rubber platform at the end.

Jump onto the platform above and run right, over cracked platforms until they turn left. Follow them up to a stable platform. Bowser jumps after you; stay ahead.

Jump up cracked platforms to the next stable platform. Immediately run onto the blue bridge. Bowser jumps onto your previous platform and chases.

Run and jump over the brick block obstacles on the bridge, timing your jumps to avoid Bowser catching up. At the end, hit the big black button again. The bridge breaks, sending Bowser into the lava.

Move along the trail and up the steps to the left of the Goal Pole. Take a running jump from the final step onto the top of the Goal Pole for the last 1-Up.
