Complete Part 7 walkthrough for Super Mario Land, including how to get Star Coin #3 and find the Tanooki Leaf.
Walkthrough
- 1Climb the tree directly left of the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag (a flag that marks your progress).
- 2At the top, rotate Mario to face the Note Blocks.
- 3Jump onto the Note Blocks and continue up onto the platform.
- 4Go down the Warp Pipe.
- 5Inside, jump onto the block below and next to the block with the Star Coin.
- 6Run in the direction opposite the Star Coin, jump at the wall, and perform a wall jump to land on the block with the Star Coin. This may take a few tries.
- 7Exit the Warp Pipe.
- 8Jump off the yellow platform back to the Checkpoint Flag.
- 9Climb the right of the two trees north of the Checkpoint Flag to the top to find a Tanooki Leaf.
- 10Follow the arrow sign to enter the building.
- 11Here you'll find a Tanooki Goomba, which can jump.
- 12Defeating the Tanooki Goomba drops a Tanooki Leaf.
- 13Break the bottom-right of the six brick blocks in the ditch (using a tail spin or ground pound) for a few extra coins.
- 14Break the brick block on the elevated ground to reveal a crank.
- 15Turn the crank with Tanooki Mario's Tail Spin until the platform is out of the building.
- 16Grab the Green Clock just north of you for 100 added time.
- 17Break the crates to your left for extra coins.
- 18Jump off the right side of the cliff whilst running and hold 'A' to hover and collect extra coins.
- 19Defeat the two Goombas below if desired.
- 20Continue right to a pair of Binoculars.
- 21Stand on the green button to look through the Binoculars.
- 22Zoom in on Toad, who is standing to the right of the colorful blocks used as makeshift steps, near the Goal Pole. Look for red lines if you have trouble finding him.
- 23Toad will jump up the colored blocks and demonstrate how to jump onto the Goal Pole.
- 24Star Coin Alert! #3: Run up the ramp and defeat the two Tanooki Goombas.
- 25Use the Note Block near the base of the big blue block on the far right to jump onto the blue block.
- 26Continue up the blocks until you reach the tightrope.
- 27Move across the tightrope until you see the Star Coin.
- 28To get this Star Coin, jump normally towards it and then, just as you land, press the Jump button again. Practice the timing to get it right.
- 29Jump up and grab the Star Coin.
- 30Use your large jump skill to jump onto the platform to the right of the tightrope.
- 31The ? Block contains another Tanooki Leaf.
- 32Jump down and continue on, preferably off the north edge to skip more of the level.
- 33Jump over the broken yellow bridge.
- 34The top plant will produce a Super Mushroom if you move onto it.
- 35Moving north, defeat the Giant Tanooki Goomba and two normal Tanooki Goombas.
- 36Collect coins flying out of the water if desired.
- 37Jump up to the top of the colorful block stairs.
- 38Run up and jump onto the top of the Goal Pole.
