There are 11 Hunting Challenges in Crimson Desert, all part of the Life Category. Finishing all of them unlocks the Ultimate Hunter trophy & achievement.

Challenge 1: Feather of the Earth

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, northwest of Karin Quarry Rest Area.
Challenge: Carry 5 birds.
How to Complete: Pick up 5 different live birds by holding interact (Triangle / Y / E) near them.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Stamina Recovery I

Challenge 2: Wild Showdown

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Delesyia, south of Marni’s Outpost.
Challenge: Defeat 3 wolves unarmed.
How to Complete: Sheathe your weapon (Square / X / Left Click) and use unarmed attacks (Square / X / Left Click). Ensure your second weapon slot is set to “Ordinary Gloves”.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Beastbane I

Challenge 3: Hunter’s Discipline

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact west of Crimson Mountains Ironcrawler Station.
Challenge: Defeat 3 hyenas without moving more than 20 meters.
How to Complete: Find hyenas near the Hyena Den east of Tommaso, or northeast of Crimson Mountain Fortress.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Composure II

Challenge 4: Mystical Ecosystem

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact west of Pailune Floodgate.
Challenge: Capture 3 Choppies.
How to Complete: Find and pick up three different Choppies, a type of rabbit creature found around Abyss areas like Axiom Archive.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Fortune

Challenge 5: A Will Harder than Rock

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact west of Burnhand Quarry in Demeniss.
Challenge: Defeat 10 stoneback crabs.
How to Complete: Find stoneback crabs near Abyss structures or Bismuth Ore deposits, such as those near Equinsher Saddlery in Hernand.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Greater Abyssbane

Challenge 6: Small Predator

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact northeast of Southern Court in Demeniss.
Challenge: Catch and carry 5 animals from the weasel family.
How to Complete: Pick up and drop 5 individual animals from the weasel family, such as Weasels and Raccoons.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Blessing of the Beast II

Challenge 7: Apex of the Food Chain

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact east of Cloister of Enlightenment in Crimson Desert.
Challenge: Subdue 3 herbivorous, 3 predators, and 3 omnivorous animals.
How to Complete: Kill 3 of each animal type. Herbivores include deer, predators include wolves, and omnivores include foxes or bears.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Beastbane

Challenge 8: Song of the Moon-Swallowing Sword

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact west from Sanctum of Renunciation in Crimson Desert.
Challenge: Cling to a wolf and stab it 6 times in a row.
How to Complete: Upgrade Grappling skill to level 4 for Back Hang. Use Back Hang on a wolf, then mash Square / X / Left Click to stab with your dagger. Consider using a lower-level dagger if needed.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Rend II

Challenge 9: Pine Broom

How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact on the side of the road in Demeniss, northeast of Southern Court.
Challenge: Carry 5 birds.
How to Complete: Pick up 5 different live birds by holding interact (Triangle / Y / E) near them.
Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Stamina Recovery I
