Abyss without Balance Walkthrough — Crimson Desert

This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Abyss without Balance main quest in Crimson Desert.

Starting Location: Hernand region > Axiom Archive

Requirement: Finished previous main quest Polar Opposites

Quest Description: After the Blinding light subsided, you found yourself once more outside the building. Restore the Abyss according to Alustin’s advice.

Go through the skybridge gate to the heart of the Abyss

Once you get control of Kliff again you will have to continue through the Abyss Nexus. You will need to use Axiom Force by holding Triangle / Y / E on the gate straight ahead of you. Head through the gateway where you will see a totem appear. Use Axiom Force to grapple the blue glowing center part of the totem:

Turn the center of the totem with Dpad Left / Right until it glows blue, then stop turning it. After a few seconds it will activate and creates a path leading ahead. Head down the path all the way until the end. At the end a platform will move to the ledge you are on, hop on and ride it to another platform. Wait for another moving platform to come down and jump on it and ride it to the top. Once at the top you will find another platform down to the right you can jump to and stand in the middle to activate. This will teleport you ahead to the far away platform. Continue forward until you get to the big open platform.

Activate the Abyss Nexus / Step onto the platform

When you reach the big open garden area, stand on the round floor plate that has a white ring around it. This is another fast travel point.

Remove the wall blocking the floor / Move the floating power core to the deactivated lantern

Use Axiom Force (hold Triangle / Y / E) on the blue glowing cube that floats in the air in the middle of the area. Place it on the right pedestal. This will remove the blockade and you can drop down the middle of the area. The left cube you don’t need to interact with, leave it on the pedestal where it starts out at. If you accidentally removed it, you can place it back on the left pedestal. So each of the blue glowing cubes is on one pedestal.

Synthesize the Abyss Cell

Hop down into the pit now that the barrier is down and locate the power cell on the right wall. You will see a blue ghost placing the power cell. Observe the ghost with Square / X / Left Click to learn Force Palm. Then use Axiom Force (hold Triangle / Y / E) to place the power cell in front of the wall just like the blue ghost did. Then use Force Palm to punch the cell into the wall with Square / X / Left Click.

Activate the Abyss power supply

Climb your way out of the pit and locate the big circular cog. Climb to the middle of the device and use Force Palm with Square / X / Left Click on it.

Take the Abyss artifact

Head up to the top of the stairs (above where you used force palm on the cog) and you will see a floating glowing item. Walk toward it and you will automatically collect it.

This finishes Abyss without Balance in Crimson Desert.
