The Missing Seal Walkthrough

Complete Crimson Desert's 64th main mission, The Missing Seal. Requires Exposed Plot. Reward: Core Blueprint: Haste. Learn to track the witch.

The Missing Seal is the 64th main mission in Crimson Desert, found in the Hernand region during Chapter 5: Guest Unbidden. You must have finished the previous main quest, Exposed Plot. The reward for completing this quest is a Core Blueprint: Haste.

Objectives:

1. Read the unsealed letter
2. Go meet the witch

To complete the first objective, open your inventory and read the Unsealed letter (purple key item). Examine it with / and hold /.

Afterward, you will receive a notification that Faction Quests are sometimes required to advance the main story. This is the first instance where side content is necessary for main plot progression.

The second objective, "Go meet the witch," is not marked on the map. You must navigate to the Journal menu, select Factions Quests, find Witches (Hernand section, red icon), and track “Witch of Wisdom.” This action will reveal a map marker slightly east of the Scholaship Institute. If you activated the fast travel point in the sky during the Obsession and Madness quest, you can press on the map to fast travel and then skydive to the marker.

Upon reaching the witch hut, defeat the enemies and climb through the open roof window. Inside, untie the witch by holding + / +. Loot the Abyss Artifact found on the table.

The map marker will update to the Witch’s House, located slightly north in The Witchwoods. Travel there and speak with the witch. Select “Listen to Request” and look at the witch while pressing to complete the objective.

Witches also serve as vendors for engraving Abyss Cores into your gear. These cores are primarily obtained from completing challenges within Sealed Abyss Artifacts, but can also be crafted, purchased, or acquired as quest rewards. You can also purchase an Abyss Artifact directly from the witch.

Completing these steps finishes The Missing Seal quest in Crimson Desert.
