The Unyielding Shields is the 163rd main mission in Crimson Desert. It is part of the Epilogue – Journey’s End chapter and sub-chapter Journey’s End. To start this quest, you must have finished the main quest A New Beginning. There is no reward for completing this quest. The quest description states that Stefan is preparing to lead a training drill, determined to prevent future wars and ensure lasting peace through Calphade’s growing might.

Visit Calphade

Travel to Calphade Castle, located in the north of the Hernand region.

Speak with Stefan Lanford

Enter the castle through the front gate to reach the throne room. Turn right and go through a door, then proceed upstairs to the top floor. You will find Stefan in his office. Approach him to trigger a cutscene.
