The Axiom Archive puzzle is an Abyss Restoration Challenge in Crimson Desert, encountered during Chapter 1 – Main Quest: Polar Opposites. It is a mandatory story objective within The Path of Providence cluster.
Upon reaching the Axiom Archive, stand on the platform to unlock a fast travel point. Continue to the tower and use Axiom Force (hold / ‘TAB’ key on PC) to rotate the two floor plates. Shine your lantern with / to reveal yellow outlines on the plates. Connect these yellow lines to the wires to restore power. Hold / Left Stick to shoot Axiom Force at a plate, then hold to pull or to push and rotate it using the right stick. If you forget the yellow line placement, release Axiom Force with / and use the lantern again.
After aligning the floor plates, a cutscene will play, and the tower will open. Inside, use Axiom Force on the gate ahead. A totem will appear; grapple its blue glowing center with Axiom Force. Rotate the totem's center with Dpad / until it glows blue, then stop. This creates a path forward. Follow the path to a moving platform, ride it to another, and then take a second moving platform to the top. At the top, jump to a platform on the right, stand in the middle to teleport to a far platform, and continue to a large garden area. Stand on the round floor plate with a white ring to activate another fast travel point, completing the Axiom Archive and starting the Ethereal Pathway Abyss.
