A Bond Walkthrough

Follow the A Bond walkthrough for Crimson Desert, starting in the Hernand region. Read Maegu's Letter and head to the altar in the misty forest.

A Bond is the 105th main mission in Crimson Desert. It starts in the Hernand region and is part of Chapter 8 – Blood Coronation, Sub-Chapter Ashen Steps. You must have finished the previous main quest, Healing Pailune, to begin. There is no reward for completing this quest.

The quest description states: Meague, a witch from the far-off East, has suffered a series of trials: a debilitating injury and the abduction of her sister.

2. Head to the altar in the misty forest

Read the letter

From your inventory, read the purple letter given to you by Torstein, titled “Maegu’s Letter“. Click on it in the inventory with Square / X / Left Click and read it by holding Square / X / Left Click.

You must travel a long distance to the south of Demeniss, south-east from your old Greymane camp. If you do not have any fast travel points there, you can teleport to the Abyss (sky map) above your Greymane camp, fly down to your camp, and travel from there on horse. The quest location is in an isolated woods area pretty far away from anything else.

Light the stone lanterns

Approach the altar in the bamboo forest and interact with the two stone lanterns in front of the altar to light them. This finishes A Bond in Crimson Desert.
