News of Victory Walkthrough

Complete the News of Victory main mission in Crimson Desert by following a soldier and lighting a beacon using Concentrating Light.

News of Victory is the 83rd main mission in Crimson Desert, located in the Hernand region and part of Chapter 6 – Cracks in the Shield. You must have finished the previous main quest, All Quiet on the Front, to begin.

The objectives are:

1. Follow the soldier
2. Light the beacon

After leaving the boss arena, follow the soldier outside and ride with him up the hill. The ride concludes at the beacon atop the hill. Walk up the staircase inside the tower and light the brazier at the top. While the subobjective suggests lighting an arrow with a torch, an easier method is to use Concentrating Light: hold \[ + ]\ > press \/ + \/ > to focus light at the brazier. Guiding Light can also set objects on fire.

If you choose to use an arrow, aim and hold it over one of the torches on the wall.

This concludes the News of Victory mission in Crimson Desert. There is no reward for completing this quest.
