Complete all 6 Crimson Desert Shield Challenges to unlock the Master of Shields trophy. Learn how to defeat enemies with your shield and block arrows.

There are 6 Shield Challenges in Crimson Desert, categorized under Mastery. Completing all of them unlocks the Master of Shields trophy & achievement.

Shield of Unchanging Will 1

• How to Unlock: Pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, at the second intersection north of Hernand Royal Trading Post.
• Challenge: Defeat 3 enemies with a shield.
• How to Complete: Enemies can be damaged directly with the shield by holding to guard, then pressing to use shield bash. Defeat 3 enemies in this way.
• Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact

Shield of Unchanging Will 2

• How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, along the road directly north of Kharonso.
• Challenge: Block 10 arrows with a shield.
• How to Complete: While blocking with a shield, block 10 arrows.
• Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Faded Abyss Artifact

Shield of Unchanging Will 3

• How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, on the side of the road southeast of the Sanctum of Benediction, south between the E and R in HERNAND map text.
• Challenge: Hit 3 enemies at once with a shield.
• How to Complete: Use Shield bash with + to attack enemies. Group up enemies and attack to hit multiple at once.
• Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact

Shield of Unchanging Will 4

• How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, at intersection directly east of Embernest Beacon.
• Challenge: Defeat 5 enemies with a shield without taking damage.
• How to Complete: Defeat 5 enemies in a row with the shield without taking damage. Focus on weak enemies and take them out one by one, dealing with archers first.
• Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact

Shield of Unchanging Will 5

• How to Unlock: Along a road in Demeniss region, on the map directly south of the “D” in Demeniss.
• Challenge: Flip 5 enemies with a shield.
• How to Complete: As Damiane, press to throw the shield at enemies. This counts as flipping them.
• Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact, Fortitude I

Shield of Unchanging Will 6

• How to Unlock: Pick up Sealed Abyss Artifact in Hernand, on the side of the road west from Calphade South Gate, just before the bridge that crosses the river.
• Challenge: Land 10 hits on enemies within 1 minute with the shield using Charge.
• How to Complete: Charge is an ability in Kliff’s Armed Combat. While guarding, press twice to make Kliff run forward, hitting enemies with the shield and knocking them back. Hit 10 different enemies within 1 minute against a large group.
• Reward: 1x Abyss Artifact
