Follow the Crimson Desert Actions Speak Louder then Words walkthrough to help distressed villagers, equip a broom, and clean a chimney for rewards.

Actions Speak Louder then Words is the 8th main mission in Crimson Desert, starting in the Hernand region during Chapter 1 – The First Encounter, Sub-Chapter Trials of Kindness. You must have finished the previous main quest, True Wisdom in Kindness, to begin. The quest rewards include x1 Standard Inventory Expansion Tool, x10 Lentils, and x5 Apples. The quest description is: Explore the town. You might find something interesting.

Objectives:

1. Help the distressed villagers/Speak with the distressed couple
2. Take the broom
3. Equip the broom and clean the chimney

Help the distressed villagers/Speak with the distressed couple

Head to the mission marker on the map and talk to the woman in front of the house. You will need to press Triangle / Y / E to interact.

Take the broom

While the couple are talking, you will automatically walk over to the broom. Press X / A / Enter to collect it.

Equip the broom and clean the chimney

From the back of the house, climb up the boxes to reach the roof. Open your inventory menu and navigate to the broom on the inventory side, then select X / A / Enter to equip it. Hold Dpad Down to select the broom in the top left side using Square / X / Left Click. You should now be holding the broom in your hands. If not, select it again from the item wheel; sometimes it must be done twice.

Now, climb on top of the chimney. While standing on it, use the Right Stick / RS / Mouse to look down and Square / X / Left Click to clean the chimney when the prompt appears in the bottom right corner. You must stand directly on top of the chimney for the prompt to appear.
