All Constellation Locations

Find all 13 Constellations in Crimson Desert to unlock the Navigator of the Stars trophy. Requires the Constellation Helm from the What the Stars left Behind quest.

There are 13 Constellation Locations in Crimson Desert, also known as Maps of the Night Challenges. Finding all of them unlocks the Navigator of the Stars trophy & achievement and counts as Exploration Challenges toward the Expert Explorer trophy & achievement.

To begin, you must obtain the Constellation Helm during the Hernand Faction Quest chain What the Stars left Behind. This quest chain appears after completing most other Hernand region Faction Quests. After finishing the Kharonso Troll Alliance quests, you should receive the Constellation Research quest. If you have already read the Constellation Research Journal from the Scholastone library, this quest will auto-complete.

The Constellation Helm is given during the quest Troll Studying Steles. Stand on the quest marker, look up toward the Spire, and align the constellation into a diamond shape. Once it shimmers, a ring will appear, signifying completion. This method applies to all constellations after the first.

Constellation #1: Shield

Location: Stones of Times in northern Demeniss. Burn thorny branches using Focused Light ( + > hold / + > hold / CTRL + Left Click > CTRL). Stand on the quest marker and look southeast to find the constellation.

Constellation #2: Adventurer

Location: Stonemire Ruins in Delesyia. Stand near the middle of the rock formation, a few meters from the two flat stones, and look southeast.

Constellation #3: Wagon

Location: Pailune, southwest of Vat’nholl Fortress near UPPER NAS RIVER. Stand halfway between the middle and northern stone in the circle of large stones and look up toward the Spire.

Constellation #4: Hammer

Location: Sheltering Rocks in Demeniss. Associated with the Secrets of the Ancient Ruins quest. Stand on the X quest marker, look southeast, and slightly adjust forward if needed to align the constellation.

Constellation #5: Woodland Spirit Owl

Location: Swamp of Despair in Pailune. Stand in the center of the area. Look southwest and align the constellation to resemble a closed top 4.

Constellation #6: Sealed Stone

Location: This is the first constellation completed during the quest Troll Studying Steles using the Constellation Helm.

Constellation #7: Ship

Location: On a pillar in the ocean directly south of the A in DEWHAVEN, Delesyia. Stand on the eastern pillar in the northeast corner and look east.

Constellation #8: Elephant

Location: Directly east of Yulgear Hearth near the SNAKETAIL WALL map text, Delesyia. Stand near the east edge of the platform, about 4x long away from the south edge, and look southeast.

Constellation #9: Camel

Location: In the FORGOTTEN CITY area, south of the giant sand pit, Hernand. Find the northern floor section with a rectangle, stand on the northeast corner of the broken wall, and look southeast.

Constellation #10: Goblin

Location: Unmarked standing stones at the dead-end path south of the Spire of Ringing Truth, Pailune. If Priscus the Ancient is not defeated, he will appear here. Stand slightly southeast of the southern stone with a hole and look straight up toward the Spire, aiming below the constellation.

Constellation #11: Black Dragon

Location: Just south of the pond, west of Spire of Insight, Hernand. Climb onto the rock, stand in the northeast corner on the lower ledge, and look southeast, aiming at the bottom left corner.

Constellation #12: Giant

Location: East of the Spire of the Sun, near standing stones, Crimson Desert. Stand slightly southeast of the northern stone, in line with the southwest one, and look west, aiming slightly left.

Constellation #13: Key

Location: Unmarked ruin in HORSESHOE LAKE, north of Bravgork Shipyard, Delesyia. Stand in the middle of the square platform and look north.
