How To Tame Horses

Learn to tame horses in Crimson Desert by climbing on and filling the taming progress circle. Pull the Left Stick opposite the horse's movement.

To tame horses in Crimson Desert, you must first climb onto the horse using the interaction button (Square / X / E). A circle will appear on your screen indicating the “taming progress” which must fill completely in yellow. To do this, you must pull the Left Stick in the opposite direction the horse is moving. For example, if the horse moves forward, you must pull backward. If you pull the stick in the opposite direction fast enough, the progress will fill, and the horse will be tamed. There is a hidden time limit; if you take too long, the horse will throw you off.
