Complete Akala Island sidequests in pokemon sun moon, including battles with Lana, Kiawe, and Mallow, and earn rewards like Muscle Band and Heart Scales.
Walkthrough
- 1Match with Lana: Head to Lana's house in Konikoni City, north-west from the Pokemon Center. Enter the room at the far end to battle two twins. After defeating them, Lana will appear and challenge you to a battle.
- 2Captain Lana's Pokemon: Lana uses Chinchou (Level 26, Water/Electric), Shellder (Level 26, Water), and Araquanid (Level 27, Water/Bug). Use Grass-types against Chinchou and Shellder, but be cautious of Chinchou's Volt Absorb. Electric-types are effective against Shellder and Araquanid, but avoid Rock-types against Araquanid due to its Water-typing.
- 3Match with Kiawe (Pokemon Sun): If playing Pokemon Sun, go to Paniola Town at night. Enter the building west of the Pokemon Center, go upstairs, and enter the top room to find Kiawe. He will then head to Thrifty Megamart. Use Charizard Glide to reach Royal Avenue, then travel north-east to the Megamart and find Kiawe near the north-east corner.
- 4Captain Kiawe's Pokemon: Kiawe uses Growlithe (Level 26, Fire), Fletchinder (Level 26, Fire/Flying), and Marowak (Level 27, Fire/Ghost). Water, Rock, or Ground-types are effective against Growlithe. Rock-types are strong against Fletchinder, with Electric and Water also working. Marowak is weak to Water, Ground, Rock, Dark, and Ghost-types. Be wary of Marowak's Will-O-Wisp.
- 5Match with Mallow (Pokemon Moon): If playing Pokemon Moon, go to the restaurant in Konikoni City during the day (which is night in Moon). Go upstairs and find Mallow in her room. Agree to play, and she will go to Lush Jungle. Follow her, talk to the Wimpod, and Mallow will challenge you to a battle.
- 6Captain Mallow's Pokemon: Mallow uses Phantump (Level 26, Grass/Ghost), Shiinotic (Level 26, Grass/Fairy), and Steenee (Level 27, Grass). Fire, Flying, Dark, and Ghost-types are effective against Phantump. Fire, Flying, and Steel-types are good against Shiinotic, with Poison-type moves dealing 4x damage. Steenee, being a pure Grass-type, is weak to Fire, Flying, Bug, Poison, and Ice.
- 7Meal with Olivia: Visit the restaurant in Konikoni City south of Olivia's store. Order the “special Z-set” for 1,040 Poke Dollars. Olivia will join you for the meal, and you will receive 4 Heart Scales. This event can be repeated daily.
- 8Ultimate Duo?: Go to the Police Station on Route 9, by the south entrance of Diglett’s Tunnel. Speak to the Snubbull by the entrance to alert the Police Officer. Chat with him to receive a Focus Band.
- 9Gift from Burnet: Visit the Dimensional Research Lab in Heahea City, west from Hano Grand Resort. Upstairs, speak to Professor Burnet in her office to receive the Reveal Glass.
