Take on the final Ula Ula Island trial in Pokémon Sun and Moon! Learn Totem Vikavolt's weaknesses, how to counter its allies, and claim your Electrium Z.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Pokemon: Vikavolt
• Level: 29
• Type: Bug/Electric
• Ability: Levitate (negates Ground-type moves)
• Weaknesses: Fire, Rock
• Resistances: Bug, Electric, Steel, Fighting
• Held Item: Occa Berry (reduces Fire-type damage once)
• Notable Ally: Charjabug (can use String Shot, Mud Slap, Thunder Wave)

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Totem Vikavolt Appears
   The battle begins with Totem Vikavolt, which receives a boost to all its stats due to an aura. It primarily uses physical moves despite its high Special Attack.
2. Phase 2: Charjabug Summon
   If Vikavolt is alone, it may summon Charjabug to assist it. These allies can inflict status conditions like Paralysis (Thunder Wave) and lower your stats (String Shot, Mud Slap). They also have the Battery Ability, though it's not particularly useful in this fight.

Strategy:

• Best Approach: Ground-type with Rock Tomb
  A Ground-type Pokemon is ideal here. They are immune to Vikavolt's Electric-type attacks, preventing Paralysis from Thunder Wave, and they resist Bug-type moves. Since Vikavolt has Levitate, Ground-type moves won't hit it directly. This is where Rock Tomb comes in handy – you should have obtained the TM for it at Wela Volcano Park. Use Rock Tomb to deal super-effective damage.
• Alternative: Fire-type Z-Move
  You can also try hitting Vikavolt with a strong Fire-type move to consume its Occa Berry. After the berry is gone, unleash a powerful Fire-type Z-Move for massive damage.
• Dealing with Charjabug:
  Focus on taking out the summoned Charjabug quickly if they appear, as their status-inflicting moves can be very disruptive.

• Upon defeating Totem Vikavolt, you'll earn Electrium Z.
• Molayne will also reward you with his Steelium Z Z-Crystal.
• Finally, Molayne will give you the Professor's Mask, which you need to return to Professor Kukui.
