Complete Route 16 in pokemon sun moon: find Zygarde Cells and Cores, battle Scientist Reid, and get TM81 X-Scissor.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
From Route 15, head west into the tall grass or east towards the Pokemon Centre.
  2. 2
If it is daytime, find a Zygarde Cell (54) west of the Pokemon Centre entrance, where the fences meet.
  3. 3
Inside the Pokemon Centre, an Aether Foundation employee near the cafe wants to see a Mimikyu. You can catch one at the Thrifty Megamart (Abandoned Site).
  4. 4
Head east from the Pokemon Centre to find a trailer. Below the stairs, a trio of Spinda are dancing.
  5. 5
Enter the trailer to discover the Aether Base. If you have collected enough Zygarde Cells and Cores, Sina and Dexio will be inside.
  6. 6
Sina and Dexio will explain Zygarde, a Legendary Pokemon composed of 100 parts (95 Cells and 5 Cores).
  7. 7
Use the Reassembly Unit on the east side of the room. Approach the console and select "Assembly".
  8. 8
Choose "Using the Zygarde Cube only" to create a Zygarde from the Cells and Cores in your Zygarde Cube. You need at least 10 Cells and Cores to create Zygarde 10% Forme. This will subtract 10 Cells and Cores.
  9. 9
If you have over 50 Cells and Cores, you can create Zygarde 50% Forme, which will subtract 50 Cells and Cores.
  10. 10
You can use the "Separation" option to break down a Zygarde into its Cells and Cores, erasing all its progress.
  11. 11
To upgrade an existing Zygarde, select "Using Zygarde and the Zygarde Cube" during assembly. A Zygarde 10% Forme can upgrade to Zygarde 50% Forme with 40 more Cells and Cores.
  12. 12
A Zygarde 50% Forme can upgrade to its final form with the remaining 50 Cells and Cores. This form has the Power Construct Ability and can shift between 10% and 50% forms.
  13. 13
If you have 100 Cells and Cores, you can create the ultimate Zygarde form immediately. Any remaining Cells and Cores can be used to make more Zygarde 10% Forme.
  14. 14
Using the Zygarde Cube, you can teach Zygarde signature moves like Thousand Waves, Thousand Arrows, and Core Enforcer, as well as other special moves.
  15. 15
With Zygarde's Power Construct, you can use the Zygarde Cube to switch between 50% Forme and 10% Forme.
  16. 16
Go to the east side of the trailer. Crawl underneath the trailer through a patch of dirt to find TM81 X-Scissor.
  17. 17
Head south-east to a patch of tall grass where you will find Scientist Reid.
  18. 18
Scientist Reid's Pokemon are a Level 32 Charjabug (weak to Rock and Fire) and a Level 33 Alolan Muk (weak to Ground).
  19. 19
East of Scientist Reid, find a PP Up on the ground by the base of a cliff.
  20. 20
To continue to Po Town, head north-west from the Pokemon Centre.

Wild Pokemon Encounters:

  • Raticate* (Dark/Normal): All grass (30%, Night only)

  • Pelipper (Water/Flying): All grass (50%)

Tips

  • Zygarde Cells and Cores
  • TM81 X-Scissor
  • PP Up
  • Experience and EVs from battles
