Walkthrough
- 1Immediately upon entering Route 14, search west for a Pearl.
- 2Call Lapras and paddle south to the far platform.
- 3Go up the stairs and collect TM30 Shadow Ball from the ruins.
- 4Paddle east from the base of the stairs.
- 5Battle Swimmer Keoni (Level 31 Pyukumuku). Use special moves like Grass or Electric types. Be wary of Innards Out.
- 6Paddle north-east back to dry land.
- 7Battle Fisherman Hisato (Level 30 Feebas, Level 31 Gyarados). Use Electric-type moves against Gyarados.
- 8North from Hisato and southeast from the entrance, if it is night, retrieve a Zygarde Cell (50) from the rubble of the collapsed road.
- 9Head to where the collapsed road meets the shore and climb up.
- 10Follow the broken road east, grabbing the Max Potion below the side of the hill.
- 11Head down the slope back to the shore.
- 12Battle Collector Kawika (Level 30 Togedemaru, Level 31 Gabite). Togedemaru is weak to Ground, Fire, and Fighting. Gabite is weak to Ice, Fairy, and Dragon.
- 13Search the rubble west from the base of the slope for a hidden Big Pearl.
- 14Continue east from the slope.
- 15Follow the edge of the shore, past the collapsed road, to find another Zygarde Cell (51) in the far corner.
- 16Return to the captain's gates and head through them.
- 17Speak with Acerola, who will explain the trial.
- 18Enter the supermarket to the north-east to begin Acerola's Ghost-type trial.
Tips
- When battling Pyukumuku, avoid physical attacks due to its Counter and Innards Out abilities. Use special attacks instead.
- For Gyarados, Electric-type attacks are highly effective.
- Togedemaru is weak to Ground, Fire, and Fighting-type moves.
- Gabite is weak to Ice, Fairy, and Dragon-type moves.
