After defeating the Elite Four and Champion, you will encounter Pokemon Trainer Dexio in Poni Grove. Dexio's team consists of Espeon (Level 61), Alolan Raichu (Level 61), Slowking (Level 61), Metagross (Level 61), and Mega Alakazam (Level 61). Espeon has high Speed and special stats, but low HP and Defense. Alolan Raichu is also fast and strong but not durable, weak to Ground, Bug, Dark, and Ghost moves. Slowking has superior Special Defense but is slow, with Psychic, Rock, Ice, and Fire-type moves. Metagross is a physical powerhouse with good all-around stats but average Speed, weak to Fire, Ground, Dark, and Ghost moves. Mega Alakazam has frightening Special Attack and Speed but poor HP and Defense, knowing Focus Blast and Energy Ball. Fending off Dexio's Pokemon will grant you a Key Stone to trigger Mega Evolution in battle and an Alakazite Mega Stone for Alakazam. Other Mega Stones must be found separately.

Once Dexio and Sina depart, continue east and follow the path north. The exit to Poni Grove is between red-brick walls. Alternatively, you can reach Poni Grove by gliding to Poni Breaker Coast and heading through the brick wall path without going through the central crossroad, bypassing Sina and Dexio.

    Enter Poni Grove, a small path leading to wide plains.

    Navigate through the tall grass, following the path north. You can battle Black Belt Roy or sneak past him from the west.

    Black Belt Roy's Pokemon is Crabominable (Level 56), weak to Flying, Psychic, Fairy, Fire, and Steel-types.

    East of Roy, find a Max Potion behind the tall grass.

    Continue north and grab the X Sp. Atk in the north-west corner behind the grass.

    Locate Zygarde Cell (83) in the corner of the cliff above, which can be hard to see.

    Head east, away from the tall grass, and encounter Ace Trainer Jackson.

    Ace Trainer Jackson's Pokemon are Bruxish (Level 55), Alolan Marowak (Level 56), and Braviary (Level 56). Bruxish is weak to Grass, Electric, Dark, Bug, and Ghost-types. Alolan Marowak is weak to Water, Rock, Ground, Dark, and Ghost-types. Braviary is weak to Electric, Rock, and Ice-types.

    The exit to the next area is ahead. Before leaving, find Zygarde Cell (84) in the east-most corner of the area, difficult to spot in daylight.
