Your expert guide to Ten Carat Hill in Pokémon Sun and Moon! Discover Pokémon encounters, find hidden items, and learn the best routes through the caves and Farthest Hollow.

Alright, let's tackle Ten Carat Hill in Pokémon Sun and Moon! If you played the Special Demo, this place might look a little familiar, but there's more to explore this time around. We'll guide you through the caves and out into the Farthest Hollow to find some useful items.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
You'll start in the cave section. Head north from the entrance to grab an X Attack off the ground. Then, make your way southwest through the cavern. You'll need to use Tauros's Ride ability to smash through some rocks blocking your path.
  2. 2
After the first set of rocks, go west through a narrow passage. You'll have to go on foot here since Tauros is too big. Once the path opens up, grab the Super Potion you see. Keep heading southwest, making sure to stay above the ledge, and you'll find an Ultra Ball at the end.
  3. 3
Now, hop back over the ledge to rejoin the main cavern path. Hop on Tauros again and charge southwest through another set of rocks. You'll encounter a large, cubic boulder – you can't move this one just yet, so don't worry about it.
  4. 4
Instead, head north to move on to the next area. You'll come out into a place called Farthest Hollow. This is where you might have had a Totem Hakamo-o battle in the demo, but it's calmer now.
  5. 5
Head north slowly. Keep an eye on your left, and just before the clearing, you'll find a Hard Stone. Continue into the clearing and grab the very obvious Nugget near the far end.
  6. 6
From the clearing, you have a few directions to go:
    • Northwest leads to tall grass where you might find Rockruff.
  7. 7
Southwest also has tall grass and a Great Ball tucked away in a corner.
  8. 8
Northeast leads to a lone Burn Heal.
  9. 9
Southeast has more tall grass, but if you keep going east from here, you'll find a slope. Follow it up and around to the south side of the hollow. Here, you'll find TM62 Acrobatics, which is great for Pokémon without held items.
  10. 10
After exploring Farthest Hollow, just backtrack to the entrance of the area and exit. You can then get back to whatever you were doing before.
