Paniola Ranch

From the entrance of Paniola Ranch, head north past the man who is waving.

As the path turns, you will encounter a trainer.

Follow the path as it bends north-east. You will meet Captain Mallow, who will give you Stoutland Search for your Ride Pager. This ability replaces the Item Finder and Dousing Machine from previous games. Press the Y button to access the Ride Pager and select Stoutland Search to summon Stoutland. You can assign a D-Pad shortcut.

Hold the B button to have Stoutland sniff the ground for items. An exclamation sign will appear when an item is nearby in Stoutland's direction. When you are close, the sign will turn red and Stoutland will bark. Press A to pick up the item.

To find hidden items:

Move at normal speed, then hold B and quickly do a 360 to check for nearby items.

From your current location, go north-west towards the right side of the trough. Have Stoutland sniff near the corner of the trough to find Moomoo Milk.

Head to the west side of the ranch near the pond. Search above the pair of Tauros to find Fresh Water.

Go east towards the barrels west from the entrance. Have Stoutland sniff the right side of the barrels to find a hidden Repel.

To leave Paniola Ranch, head for the open gate to the south-east.

Back on the main path, travel south. You will reach a ramp with tall grass to the right.

Enter the tall grass and go east along the wooden fence.

If it is daytime, find a Zygarde Cell (18) in the far corner where there is no tall grass.

Head south into the tall grass and search behind the sign for a Soda Pop.

Go west and cross the ramp, keeping to the north.

On the other side, if it is nighttime, find a Zygarde Cell (19) by the corner of the grass mound after coming down the western side of the ramp.

Step into the tall grass to the south. In the bottom-left corner, find an Ether.

Align yourself halfway up the tall grass, then slowly move until you are opposite the left-most part of the ramp above. Search around this area for a Super Repel.

Make your way east. Where the tall grass ends, you will find a trainer. You can sneak behind him.

Cross the ramp to the east, then head north through the tall grass to reach the Pokemon Nursery.

Before entering the Nursery, go into the small pen south from the Miltank, through the small gap in the fence. Search in the very middle to find an Oval Stone.

Inside the Nursery, talk to the breeder on the left to receive TM10 Hidden Power. She can also check your Pokemon’s Hidden Power Type.
