Poni Wilds

Discover Pokémon encounters, items, and trainers in Poni Wilds, Pokémon Sun and Moon. Find Wimpod, collect Zygarde Cells, and battle Ace Trainers.

Poni Wilds is an undeveloped area on Poni Island, serving as a hub for various Pokémon encounters and trainer battles. There are no official routes, but heading south-east is the primary direction for progression.

From the Seafolk Village entrance, head west through the tall grass towards the shore. You can find and chase Wimpod here by charging with Tauros. In the south-west corner of the shore, a buried Pearl can be found. North-west of this spot, near the waters, is a Repeat Ball. Further north, a Max Repel is in plain sight, and a Zygarde Cell (70) is located between a pair of rocks. The north-most part of the shore holds a Big Pearl between the waters and the cliff. Approach the waters to the west to call Lapras or Sharpedo for fishing, especially in the bubbling spot to the far south.

Towards the west side of the shore, a Pearl String is near the south and a Dusk Stone to the north. You can then leave the shore near the north.

Ace Trainer Kekoa

Skarmory can be countered with Electric or Fire-types, using special moves to bypass its high Defense. Sharpedo is weak to Grass, Electric, Bug, Fighting, and Fairy-types, possessing strong offense but weak defenses.

North from Ace Trainer Kekoa is a slope leading north. Above, you can find Dancer Cara. Hugging the east path or using precise timing can help skip her battle.

Dancer Cara

This Oricorio is native to Poni Island and is part Ghost, making it weak to Electric, Rock, Ice, Dark, and Ghost-type moves. Its signature move, Revelation Dance, is Ghost-type for this Oricorio.

In the north-west corner, near a berry pile, a Rare Candy is hidden between two rocks. Return to the east side of the shore and head north-east towards a path with tall grass and a trainer.

Ace Trainer Lindsey

Garbodor has good all-around stats. Toxapex is weak to Ground, Psychic, and Electric-types.

Wade through the grass north of Ace Trainer Lindsey. In a clearing with a berry pile, head east through short tall grass to find a Max Potion on the floor to the north. Head south through two rows of tall grass. If it's daytime, go up a small slope to the left before a ledge to find a Zygarde Cell (71) by the rocks. If it's nighttime, a Zygarde Cell (72) can be found next to a Trainers Tip sign to the east. Past the sign, a berry pile is located on high ground. A road lined with tall grass leads to the next area, with a trainer halfway along the west edge.
