Alright, you've made it to the big one on Melemele Island – Kahuna Hala's Grand Trial! This is a tough fight, but don't sweat it. We'll get you through this.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Machop (Level 15) - Fighting-type. Weak to Flying, Psychic, Fairy. Watch out for Focus Energy + Karate Chop.
• Makuhita (Level 15) - Fighting-type. Weak to Flying, Psychic, Fairy. Can use Fake Out and Sand Attack.
• Crabrawler (Level 16) - Fighting-type. Weak to Flying, Psychic, Fairy. Can use Power-Up Punch to boost Attack and has a Fighting Z-Move.

Strategy:

• Hala's Pokémon are all Fighting-types, so your best bet is to use Pokémon that resist Fighting moves, or are super-effective against them. Flying, Psychic, and Fairy types are your go-to. If you've got that Hawlucha from Verdant Cavern, it'll shine here!
• Ghost-types are also fantastic because they're immune to Fighting-type attacks, though be mindful that Crabrawler knows Pursuit, which can hit Ghosts.
• Start strong against Hala's Machop. It can get dangerous if it uses Focus Energy to boost its critical hit rate before attacking with Karate Chop. Take it out quickly!
• Makuhita is next. It often leads with Fake Out, which can flinch you and waste your turn. Try using an item like an X Attack, X Defense, or Roto Boost before it attacks to get an edge. It can also annoy you with Sand Attack, lowering your accuracy.
• Crabrawler is Hala's final Pokémon. It can use Power-Up Punch to boost its own Attack stat while damaging you, and it also has access to a powerful Fighting Z-Move. Pokémon that resist Fighting are crucial here.

• After you defeat Hala, he'll give you the Ride Pager, adding Tauros Charge to your Ride Pokémon options.
• You'll also receive TM54 False Swipe from Ilima. This move is amazing for weakening Pokémon without accidentally knocking them out, making capture much easier. Just remember it doesn't work on Ghost-types unless you use Foresight or Odor Sleuth first, or a move that changes their type.
• Hau will announce that the Hau'oli City Shopping Mall is now open.
• After all that, you're free to head off to the next island! But before you go, make sure to find those boulders in the south-west house in the lower part of town. Use Tauros Charge to break them and grab Totem Sticker #001.
