Alright, so you've made it to the postgame and you're looking to take on Lana again. This is a rematch, so she's brought a tougher team this time. The battle takes place right by the harbor, so keep an eye on the weather – if it's raining, those Water-types get a serious boost, making things a bit trickier for you.

Lana's Team:

Let's break down her team:

• Lanturn (Water/Electric): This Pokémon has a pretty mixed typing, but its stats aren't amazing. It can hit hard with Hydro Pump and Discharge, and it's got Thunder Wave to paralyze you and Icy Wind to slow down your Grass-types. Even though it's got these moves, Grass-types are still a solid choice here because Lanturn just isn't that powerful overall.
• Cloyster (Water/Ice): Cloyster boasts some serious Attack and Defense stats, but it's really vulnerable to special attacks. It's got Icicle Crash for STAB, Spike Cannon which is nasty with its Skill Link ability, Smart Strike to always hit, and Spikes to chip away at your team when you switch. Your best bet here is an Electric-type or any Pokémon that hits hard with special attacks.
• Araquanid (Bug/Water): This one is specially bulky but pretty slow. It'll use Liquidation and Leech Life for STAB, Crunch to deal with Ghosts, and Frost Breath to mess with your Grass-types. Just remember that its Water Bubble ability makes Liquidation super powerful, and it's even holding a Waterium Z! Electric or Flying-types are your best bet, or really anything that resists Water.

Once you manage to beat Lana's team, you'll get some cool rewards: a Deep Sea Tooth and a Deep Sea Scale. These are super important because they're used to evolve Clamperl into either Huntail or Gorebyss when traded while holding the item. Plus, you'll unlock the Girly Battle Style inspiration!
