Find all Pokémon encounters, Stardust, Sharp Beak, and Soothe Bell on Route 3 in Pokémon USUM. Prepare for Hala's Grand Trial.

Walkthrough

    Head north from the entrance of Route 3.

    Choose either the eastern or western path; both can be explored later.

    On the eastern path, follow the upper path clockwise to find a hidden Stardust in a small alcove.

    Continue clockwise along the lower path west to find a Sharp Beak in a nearby alcove.

    Head east from the Sharp Beak location to rejoin the main path where the two routes converge.

    Explore the western path. Battle Rising Star Tatiana (Cottonee Lv. 12).

    Find a Heal Ball in the east-most corner of a ledge with tall grass on the ocean-facing path.

    Battle Rising Star Ian (Psyduck Lv. 12).

    Return to where the two paths converge and head south.
  10. 10
    Continue south past an idle trainer until you meet Kukui.

    Travel east to the final part of the route and speak to the man below tall grass to receive a Soothe Bell.

    Return north to the darkened path and enter to reach the next area.
Tips
  • Hala, the next trial captain, uses Fighting-type Pokémon. Consider catching and training a Flying, Psychic, or Fairy-type Pokémon.
  • Bird Pokémon in bird shadows on this route will trigger a fight instantly if you bump into them.
  • Crabrawler can be found underneath berry trees with 100% encounter rate.
  • Cottonee is weak to Fire, Flying, and Steel-types, and exceptionally weak to Poison-types.
  • Psyduck is not a Psychic-type; Grass and Electric-types are effective.
