Arrive at Heahea Beach in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, discover hidden items like a Pearl and Revive, and learn about Battle Points (BP) and Mantine Surf.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving at Akala Island, you will land on Heahea Beach.
- 2Participate in Mantine Surf to earn Battle Points (BP), with the amount based on your score.
- 3If you score over 12,200 points in Mantine Surf, you will receive a Star Piece and instructions for the "Lanturn 360" trick.
- 4Search the area directly south from Mantine, where the waves meet the sand, to find a hidden Pearl.
- 5Find Professor Samson Oak on the beach; he will give you Totem-sized Pokémon if you collect enough Totem stickers (milestones at 20, 40, 50, 70, 80, 100 stickers). You can currently collect up to 16 stickers.
- 6Head south-west from Oak towards the shoreline and find a shimmering item in the water to discover a letter in a bottle.
- 7From where you found the bottle, walk east until Oak and the signpost are barely visible in the top-left corner of the screen.
- 8Walk in a tight circle to the right in this spot while pressing the A button to search for and potentially find a buried Revive.
- 9Ride Mantine from Heahea Beach to access its specific Mantine Surf course.
- 10Visit the stalls north-east of your starting position to learn new moves or exchange BP for items.
- 11Continue north-east past the stalls to a secluded area and find a Soda Pop by the wall.
- 12Exit Heahea Beach via the south, opposite the BP shops, to continue exploring Akala Island.
Tips
- Battle Points (BP) can be spent at Mantine Surf spots, the Battle Royal Dome, or the Battle Tree.
- The Totem Pokémon you receive from Samson Oak are larger but have the same stats and Abilities as regular Pokémon.
- The letter in a bottle found on the beach mentions finding someone on Akala Island who loves Corsola.
- If finding the hidden Revive is too difficult, don't worry, as you will soon gain an easier method for finding hidden items.
- The Mantine Surf course you attempt depends on your starting location, not your destination.
- The BP shop on the left can teach the following moves: Iron Tail, Spite, After You, Giga Drain, Synthesis, Ally Switch, Signal Beam, Gravity, Stealth Rock, Iron Defense, Telekinesis, Magnet Rise, Bounce, Role Play, Fire Punch, and Water Pulse.
- Giga Drain is recommended for Grass-type special attackers, and Fire Punch is useful for coverage.
