Rematch with Faba

Alright, it's time for another round with Faba! He's definitely stepped up his game since the last time you met. This rematch is part of the postgame fun, and he's brought a pretty solid Psychic-type team to challenge you. Don't worry, though – we'll get you through it!

Faba's Team & Weaknesses:

• Claydol (Level 63, Ground/Psychic): This one's slow but bulky. It's got STAB moves like Earth Power and Extrasensory, plus Ancient Power and Grass Knot. Dark, Bug, and Ghost types are good choices here.
• Bruxish (Level 63, Water/Psychic): Bruxish hits hard and fast, with the Strong Jaw ability boosting its biting moves like Crunch and Psychic Fangs. It can also use Aqua Jet for priority and Screech to lower your Defense. Again, Dark types are highly recommended.
• Alolan Raichu (Level 63, Electric/Psychic): This speedy special attacker can hit hard with Thunderbolt and Psychic. Watch out for Quick Attack for finishing blows and Nuzzle, which will paralyze your Pokémon 100% of the time! Ground-types are your best friend here to resist Electric attacks.
• Alakazam (Level 63, Psychic): A familiar face for some, Alakazam is a fast special attacker. It uses Psychic/Psyshock for STAB, Dazzling Gleam to threaten Dark-types, and Disable to stop your moves. Bug, Ghost, or Steel types are solid counters.
• Hypno (Level 63, Psychic): Faba's final Pokémon is Hypno. It can use Psychic for STAB, Hypnosis to put your Pokémon to sleep, Dream Eater to heal itself by draining HP from sleeping targets, and Focus Blast for coverage. Bug and Ghost types are good, but if your Pokémon gets put to sleep, be ready to switch or use a status heal immediately!

Strategy:

• Lead with a strong Dark or Ghost-type Pokémon. They resist most of Faba's STAB moves and can hit back hard.
• Pay close attention to Faba's moveset. Moves like Nuzzle can paralyze you, Hypnosis can put you to sleep, and Screech can severely lower your Defense. Have status-healing items like Full Heals or Antidotes ready, or switch out promptly.
• Ground-types are excellent against Alolan Raichu, shutting down its Thunderbolt and Nuzzle.
• If you're struggling, consider using Pokémon with high Special Defense to tank hits from Alakazam and Alolan Raichu.

After you defeat Faba, he'll give you a Dubious Disc. This item is key for evolving Porygon2 into Porygon-Z when traded while held. Combine this with the Porygon and Up-Grade you got earlier, and you'll be ready to get your Porygon-Z, just needing a trade partner!
