Alright, so you're looking to find Medusa in Dragon's Dogma 2? She's not exactly hanging out in the town square, but she's definitely findable if you know where to look. You'll want to head towards the Wyrmsblood Forest. Specifically, keep an eye out for the Nera’Battahl Windrift point of interest – that's your general area on the way up to Dragonsbreath Tower. Medusa herself is lurking in a spot called the Caliginous Depths. When you get there, you'll find her cave, and stepping inside means the fight starts immediately.

Now, here's a pro-tip for ya: there's a way to get the jump on her, literally. Just before you enter her cave, there's a nearby cliff. You can actually drop down from this cliff right into her lair. If you time it right, you can land smack-dab on her head and slice it off right away. This is the only way to get the Medusa Head, which is super useful as a weapon and item. If you just defeat her normally without cutting off the head, you'll miss out on it.

Don't sweat it too much if you mess up the decapitation the first time. If you happen to kill her without getting her head, you can just head back to Bakbattahl or any inn or bench, sleep for a little over two weeks, and she'll respawn in her cave. To get back there easily, you can use our interactive world map or just place a marker when you find her.
