Discover how to unlock the powerful Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2. Get tips on finding Lamond and gathering the rare Newt Liqueur needed for this endgame class.

Alright, so you're looking to unlock the Warfarer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2? It's a bit of a trek, but totally worth it. This class is pretty much an endgame deal, so don't stress about getting it super early. You'll need to head way down south to the Volcanic Island Camp.

To get there, you'll have to go through Drabnir's Grotto. Once you pop out the other side, just follow the path straight to the camp. Lamond, the guy you need to talk to, hangs out by the hot springs. You'll spot him there chilling. The camp itself is pretty big, but you can find the springs by using the ladder on some wooden scaffolding.

Now, Lamond isn't going to just hand over the Warfarer Vocation. You need to give him three Newt Liqueurs. These things are pretty rare, so you might have one or two by the time you reach the Volcanic Island Camp, but you'll likely need to hunt down the rest.

  • You can snag one from the Windwalker's Home on the island.
  • Your best bet for the others is Higgs' Tavern in Bakbattahl. Getting into his shop is a bit of a puzzle: you'll need a Beastren Mask (grab one from the Forgery in Checkpoint Rest Town) and then move the sandbags outside the door into the pen. Once that's done, you can buy the rest of the Newt Liqueur there.
  • Another one can be found in the Forbidden Magick Research Lab, specifically inside the Chemical Stores Room.

Once you've got all three Newt Liqueurs, head back to Lamond at the Volcanic Island Camp. Hand them over, and once you give him the third one, you'll unlock the Warfarer Vocation!

Heads up: Reaching the Volcanic Island is no joke. You'll want to have some upgraded gear, boosted stats, and a high-rank Vocation yourself to handle the bosses and challenges on the way. This is definitely an endgame Vocation, so don't rush it. If you keep chatting with Lamond after unlocking the Warfarer, you can also unlock the Rearmament ability, which lets you mix and match skills from different Vocations.
