Preparation: Before starting the quest or after seeing Phaesus pass the Spellseal Door, acquire an Unmaking Arrow. There are two known methods to obtain them; refer to the Unmaking Arrow Locations page for details.

Equip Archer Vocation: Switch to the Archer vocation, as it's the only class that can use Unmaking Arrows.

Use Unmaking Arrow: Pass through the Spellseal Door and wait for the Guardian Gigantus to reach land. Shoot it with the Unmaking Arrow from your inventory. This will remove its crystals but it will continue moving.

Follow Gigantus: Follow the Guardian Gigantus as it moves east towards the Excavation Site in Agamen Volcanic Island. The achievement should unlock when it is disabled there.

Alternative Strategy (No Unmaking Arrow): If you don't have an Unmaking Arrow or wish to save it, you can still defeat the Gigantus.
