Learn how to resurrect your main Pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2 using Riftstones. Discover what happens to other Pawns and how to find new ones.

In Dragon's Dogma 2, you can only resurrect your main Pawn. This can be done by touching any Riftstone around the map. There are dozens of these across Vermund and Battahl, so you shouldn’t have any issues finding one. They can typically be found in towns and close to campfires.

The other two Pawns within your party will be lost forever when they are killed. If your Pawns do die, you will need to then find new ones out in the world while wandering around or from touching Riftstones. These can be hired for a small fee if they are at a higher level than you, or they are free if they are of an equal or lower level. On top of that, you can sometimes find the Pawns you previously traveled with around the world or in Riftstones.

They will recognize you and adding them back into your party is a great way to continue to build your bond with them.

Regular Riftstones will resurrect your pawn by simply touching them. However, if you have already used a Riftstone that grants you a powerful Pawn, you won’t be able to reuse it.

Pawns will most likely die when you are fighting monsters and larger enemies on cliff edges and by rivers. In these environments, they can easily be knocked into the water and drown instantly. So, you shouldn’t need to manually respawn your Pawn too often, especially as you can always revive your main Pawn and two other pawns in the middle of a battle after they are downed.
