- 1Begin the quest by visiting Sven in Vernworth Palace. Speak to him, then examine the letter he provides.
- 2Travel to the Slums and locate the library beneath the Gracious Hand, where Waldhar resides. You may need to complete the 'Caged Magistrate' and 'Heel of History' quests first.
- 3Give the note to Waldhar. He will identify it as related to the Godsway and suggest the answer lies in Battahl.
- 4Make your way to Battahl. Use Captain Brant’s pass to enter the region.
- 5In Battahl, find the Secret Laboratory near the Flamebearer Palace. Enter through the passageways on the north side, along the cliffside pathway, to avoid trespassing.
- 6Navigate to the Equipment Storage on the southern tip of the Laboratory. Enter the room on the south side, being cautious of guards, and find the letter on a table.
- 7Return to Vernworth Palace and present the acquired letter to Sven to complete the quest.
Tips
- The Secret Laboratory in Battahl is a restricted area. Avoid drawing weapons or harassing NPCs to prevent the area from becoming hostile.
- Consider using a Ferrystone to quickly return to Vernworth from Battahl, as the journey is lengthy.
