    Accessing Battahl:
    1. If you have a Border Permit (obtained after progressing main story quests, specifically the Flickering Shadows quest), head east from Checkpoint Rest Town, cross the northern bridge, follow the large path east past a campfire, then take the southern intersection path.

    If you need to reach Battahl early, take the Oxcart from Vernworth to Checkpoint Rest Town. Head northeast, follow the path east, cross the northern bridge, and continue east. If you reach a broken bridge, backtrack slightly and head north to find another bridge. Cross it and follow the large path east until you pass a campfire to the south. Continue east and take the next southern path at the intersection. This leads to Guerco Cave. Follow the cave system south, which is a long trek filled with monsters, eventually leading to Bakbattahl.
  • Finding the Reverent Shrine:
    1. Once in Battahl, head towards the Reverent Shrine, located east of the Enoa’Battahl Forest in the northern part of the region.
    2. If you have a Border Permit, talk to the guard at the border gate near Checkpoint Rest Town and proceed south along the winding path until you reach ruins in Enoa’Battahl Forest.
    3. Continue south on the main path, passing the Riftstone of the Fanged after crossing a river.
    4. Head northeast via the paths to find the Reverent Shrine.
    5. Speak with Luz at the Reverent Shrine to unlock the Trickster Vocation.

    1. Climb the Reverent Shrine using the ladder on the southern wall.
    2. Head west around the shrine and jump to the Plaque above the entrance. This jump may require specific Vocation skills (like Mystic Spearhand’s Dragoun’s Foin or Trickster’s skills).
    3. Luz will acknowledge you saw through the illusion and reward you with the scroll “Theurgist’s Rite”.
