Complete the Dragonsbreath Tower dungeon in dragons dogma 2. Team up with Sigurd to defeat the Lesser Dragon and find hidden loot.
Walkthrough
- 1Reach Dragonsbreath Tower by taking the Battahl Ropeway Station One lift to Battahl Ropeway Central Station, then another lift south to Battahl Ropeway Station Four. This places you near the Wyrmsblood Forest.
- 2Follow the winding uphill path through Wyrmsblood Forest, fending off Hobgoblins, Knacker, Redwolf, Lost Mercenary, Venin Harpy, Gore Harpy, Succubus, and Grim Ogre enemies. Be cautious of destructible bridges; if one breaks, you must wait for it to repair.
- 3A Campsite is located just outside the dungeon entrance.
- 4Upon reaching Dragonsbreath Tower, Sigurd will appear and offer to help slay the Lesser Dragon if you met him previously.
- 5Rest at the Campsite if needed, then enter the tower through the archway. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play showing the Lesser Dragon.
- 6Sigurd will suggest teaming up. It is recommended to defeat the Lesser Dragon first before extensively searching for loot, as Sigurd may get lost if you explore too early.
- 7Cross the bridge west from the entrance arch to enter the tower's 1F. Clear out the Hobgoblins.
- 8Proceed south, turn right, and head upstairs. Beware of Skeletons that may appear on the first flight of stairs.
- 9In a cubby to the northeast, find a Savagery Extract. Continue upstairs to reach 2F.
- 10On 2F, note the loose brickwork. Continue southeast to reach an outdoor area where you may encounter more Hobgoblins and Gore Harpies. Avoid falling off the tower.
- 11Look for a ladder on the crumbling floor above, which is for your descent. Head north, then northwest to find stairs leading to 3F.
- 12On 3F, more Hobgoblins may be present. Turn west from the stairs to find another flight leading to 4F. Ensure Sigurd is nearby before proceeding.
- 13On 4F, you will face either a Lesser Dragon or a Drake. If fighting the Lesser Dragon, attack its pustules on its arms, neck, and head. If it spews toxin, retreat. Sigurd will assist in the fight.
- 14After defeating the Lesser Dragon, Sigurd will depart, allowing you to explore the now monster-free tower.
- 15Return to the entrance arch and head northwest to find a slope leading down to B1F.
- 16Navigate through the rubble to the west, climbing ruins to reach higher ground. Behind some rubble, find a chest containing a Ferrystone.
- 17Work your way south to the base of the tower and turn west to find a break in the wall and a rocky ledge. If you have Concussive Leap, you can reach this ledge to find a Griffin nest and chests. Otherwise, this area can be reached later.
Tips
- Defeating enemies before they can harass you during exploration or boss fights is advisable.
- Falling off the tower is a significant hazard.
- NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) pathfinding can be unpredictable, so keep Sigurd close during critical moments.
- If you encounter a Drake instead of a Lesser Dragon, consult the Drake Enemy Guide.
