Complete walkthrough for the Trouble on the Cape side quest in Dragon's Dogma 2. Learn how to rescue Zoran from Stormwind Cave and the quest rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1To start 'Trouble on the Cape,' visit Harve Village after completing 'Scaly Invaders.' Note that 'Scaly Invaders' requires 'Monster Culling' to be completed first, as you need to clear Saurians from Stormwind Cave.
- 2After completing these prerequisite quests, leave Harve for a few days and return. More Saurians will have appeared. Defeat them.
- 3The village chief, Jonas, will argue with Fyoran about the Saurians. Fyoran believes a beastren stirred them up and will ask for your help to rescue Zoran, then head to Stormwind Cave.
- 4Venture into Stormwind Cave. You likely cleared most of it during 'Monster Culling.'
- 5Descend into the cave and proceed to the first chamber where Fyoran and a guard await. Follow them through a tunnel west, then south to the central chamber.
- 6Clear the central chamber of Saurians.
- 7Head to the southwestern edge of the room, climb ledges to the east, and enter the nursery chamber.
- 8Eradicate all Saurians in the nursery chamber.
- 9In the northeastern corner of the nursery, find Zoran. You must escort him out of the cave.
- 10Zoran is fragile and cannot be attacked by Saurians. Do not pick him up to speed him along, as he may not survive falls. Escort him slowly back to the cave entrance, backtracking the way you came to ensure he can manage the terrain.
- 11If Zoran is incapacitated, quit without saving and reload your last save.
- 12Once Zoran reaches the cave entrance, help him escape and return to Harve.
- 13Jonas will be displeased, but the quest will conclude.
Tips
- If you have advanced 'Readvent of Calamity' to the point where Ulrika has moved to Harve, she will play a role in this quest.
- If you haven't advanced 'Readvent of Calamity,' Jonas's prejudice may lead to a negative narrative outcome, though the reward remains the same.
- Patience is key when escorting Zoran. Avoid combat as much as possible on the return journey.
