Optimize Garry's Mod performance with launch options like -novid, -nojoy, and -high, and advanced config tweaks.

Fine-Tuning Your Game's Startup:

In Steam, right-click Garry's Mod -> Properties -> General -> Launch Options:

• -novid: Skips the Valve intro video.
• -nojoy: Disables joystick support, freeing up some resources.
• -high: Sets GMod to high CPU priority.
• -dxlevel 95: Forces DirectX 9.5 (can sometimes improve performance on older cards).
• -heapsize <MB>: (e.g., -heapsize 2097152 for 2GB) Allocates more RAM to the game. Use with caution and only if you have ample RAM.

Config Tweaks: You can create or modify autoexec.cfg in garrysmod/cfg/ to automatically run console commands every time you launch the game (e.g., cl_showfps 1).
