Learn how to defeat the Nozuchis and extend your Press Turns in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. This guide covers strategies and tips for this challenging encounter.
Walkthrough
- 1From the Harumi Warehouse, hit the switch to open the door and descend the ladder into the Great Ginza Underpass.
- 2Follow the man who runs from you. He will meet another man, and they will flee to warn their village about you.
- 3Continue following them to their village.
- 4Upon entering, the villagers (Manekata) will react fearfully, mistaking you for a demon from the Mantra Army. An elder will discern you are not a threat.
- 5Speak with the elder Manekata. He explains that the Manekata are slaves of the demons in the Mantra Army who fled their base. They were created as 'surrogate humans' to provide Magatsuhi to demons, and many serve demons in Ikebukuro. Gozu-Tenno is the boss of the Mantra Army.
- 6Visit the store in the Underpass. You will meet the Flamboyantly Gay Manekata, who will handle most shop business. Here you can purchase the Ankh Magatama (if not obtained from Pixie), Hifumi Magatama, and Kamudo Magatama.
- 7You cannot proceed further into the Ginza tunnel due to a guard. On the lower floor at the west end of the village, find the junk collector Manekata.
- 8The junk collector will offer to get you past the guard in exchange for a 'note' (human currency) for his collection.
- 9Return to Ginza and ask Loki in the bar about Notes. He will offer his stash for 20 million Makka.
- 10Ignore Loki and go the back way to find a treasure box containing a 1000-yen bill (human currency).
- 11Upon leaving the room with the treasure, you will encounter Troll, who has returned. You must fight him.
Tips
- The Manekata villagers appear human but exhibit sporadic full-body spasms.
- The Flamboyantly Gay Manekata takes over shop duties in Shibuya if you return there after this point.
- The junk collector Manekata scavenges items humans use and sometimes sneaks past guards.
- The 'note' the junk collector seeks is human currency, specifically a 1000-yen bill.
