After defeating Skadi, the Magatsuhi returns to the Shrine, and Isamu congratulates you. If you have other Temples to address, do so now. Once all three Gods are defeated, Isamu thanks you and invites you into the Core to witness the establishment of Musubi, provided you told him in the Amara Network that you came to see him.

If you expressed concern for Hijiri in Amara, Isamu's reaction changes. He laughs at your apparent lack of gain from killing the Gods and questions your willingness to be used. Despite this, he fulfills his promise and opens the Core, urging you to enter for the truth about the situation and why Musubi is beneficial for the world.

Inside the Core, Isamu has Hijiri suspended in Magatsuhi. He states this is your final task before rest. Hijiri agrees, finding the Magatsuhi itchy. Isamu acknowledges Hijiri's discomfort and encourages him. Isamu then thanks you for gathering the Magatsuhi from the three gods, deeming it sufficient for establishing the Musubi Kotowari. You are presented with two choices:

1. Ask Isamu what he's doing
2. Stop Isamu

Choosing to ask Isamu reveals that this is preparation for the ceremony to bring about Musubi, with Hijiri serving as the core and gathering the Magatsuhi.

If you choose to stop Isamu, he questions your heroic intentions and naivety, suggesting you could have been in Hijiri's place. Isamu then reveals that Hijiri conceived the plan, intending for one of you to be the core. Hijiri clarifies he only devised the method and Isamu might not have gone through with it. Isamu retorts, referencing Hijiri's past statements about the low value of human life in this world. Hijiri sarcastically states his words will sound like excuses and advises Isamu to proceed as he wishes, but not to forget the consequences. Isamu affirms he will do as he pleases, controlling the Shrine.
