Navigate the aftermath of the Mizuchi battle in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. Interact with Futomimi and Isamu, make crucial dialogue choices, and prepare for your journey to Asakusa.
Walkthrough
- 1After the battle, you receive the Miasma Magatama, and the area's illusion is dispelled.
- 2Enter the back room. A Manekata man, Futomimi, appears and recognizes you as the 'Hito-Shura'. He thanks you for defeating Mizuchi and freeing him.
- 3Futomimi explains his limited precognition and that he foresaw your arrival. He mentions a human boy (Isamu) trapped in the next room who came looking for him. He senses you know Isamu and advises you to see him soon, then departs.
- 4Enter the nearby room to find Isamu interacting with a terminal. He asks if you are there to save him and sarcastically comments on your delay.
- 5You have three dialogue options with Isamu:
- Talk Back: Isamu states he has a right to speak to you that way as you haven't helped him. You gain 4 Yosuga points.
- 6Apologize: Isamu dismisses the apology, stating it changes nothing. You gain no alignment points.
- 7Leave the room: Isamu remarks he expected little of you anyway. You gain 4 Musubi points.
- 8Isamu declares he no longer wants to rely on you or Yuko and will act independently. He heard the voice you and Chiaki heard upon entering the Vortex, which told him to 'Seek the truth.' He found a clue while trapped and believes truth is found within oneself, not by relying on others. He states he has opened his own way and is seeking a great power in the Amara network to find the truth. He uses the terminal to teleport away.
- 9As you leave Mizuchi's room, Futomimi and his followers are waiting. He thanks you again and explains the Manekata are journeying to find a way to live with less suffering.
- 10In gratitude, Futomimi offers to tell your future. He foresees someone waiting for you in Ginza. He then leaves with the Manekata.
- 11Teleport back to Ginza and find Hijiri in the Terminal room. He comments on Hikawa's destruction of the Mantra army and his own efforts to locate the Nightmare System base and its controller.
- 12Hijiri is struggling to access terminals due to Nihilo's control over them. He needs a terminal with less Nihilo influence to access the Amara network. He believes the rebuilt town of Asakusa, being rebuilt by the Manekata, might have such a terminal.
- 13As Asakusa is infested with demons, Hijiri suggests teleporting directly from Ginza's Terminal. However, he deems this dangerous due to the unpredictable nature of Amara travel. He proposes you go to Asakusa first and contact him from there, allowing him to travel safely. He asks for your agreement.
- 14Regardless of your answer, you will end up helping Hijiri. If you refuse, he will persuade you by offering full access to all information he has gathered from the terminals.
- 15Hijiri explains that while you travel to Asakusa, he will continue extracting information from the Amara network and will share his findings upon your rendezvous. He provides the location of the tunnel to Asakusa: east of Ikebukuro.
- 16Exit the east side of Mantra HQ and head south (around the ramp) to reach the Ikebukuro Tunnel. If you lack allies with the Lightma skill, purchase Light Balls from the Ikebukuro shop beforehand, as they will be necessary.
