Alright, so you've stumbled upon the Amara Deep Zone, huh? This is a totally optional area, but trust me, it's a big deal if you want the full Nocturne experience. You can dive in, do a bit, or skip it entirely. But if you manage to clear the whole thing before heading into the final dungeon, you'll unlock a brand new ending with a super tough, but super rewarding, final boss. Plus, you'll get a ton of juicy lore about the world that you just can't get anywhere else. Oh, and it's the only place to snag Deathomen stones (死兆石) to fuse a new Majin, and you can recruit some seriously powerful new demons. Seriously, it's worth exploring every nook and cranny.

The Amara Deep Zone is broken down into 5 sections called "Calpas." When you first get access, only the first Calpa is open. You'll need to defeat certain Majin bosses in the main game to get their Menorahs. Bring those Menorahs back to the ADZ, and they'll unlock the next Calpa. This means you can't just blast through the whole thing at once, which is good because the enemies in the lower Calpas are no joke!

Each Calpa has a main "hub" on the top level connected by a Warp Zone. These are kinda like mini-games themselves. Once you unlock a Calpa by placing its Menorah, its primary Warp Zone opens up, giving you easy access back and forth. Then there are the "secondary" Warp Zones that connect each Calpa to the one below it (or sometimes two warp zones between the Third and Fourth Calpa). You absolutely need these secondary warp zones to reach the "entrance areas" where you'll place your Menorahs to unlock the next Calpa. There's even one warp zone that doesn't lead anywhere useful, but hey, it's a good spot to grab some extra cash.

Inside each Calpa, you'll find "Graveyard" rooms. These are where the gravestones of bosses you've defeated appear. If you've got the Black Visor item, you can use it at these gravestones to refight those boss battles. It's a great way to test your skills or grind out some experience if you need it.
