There are four types of Seirei in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. They are a special race of demons not ideal as direct allies, but rather as fusion fodder. To create a Seirei, you must fuse two demons of the same race together. Alternatively, you can purchase Seirei from Rag's shop located in Ginza. The specific Seirei generated depends on the demon race used in the fusion.

The primary function of Seirei is to provide an artificial "Level up/Level down" boost by changing the rank of the demon they are fused with. For instance, fusing a LV20 Yoki Momunofu with a Seirei can result in either a LV25 Yoki Oni (Rank up) or a LV4 Shikigami (Rank down). Each demon race reacts differently with each of the four Seirei types. It is important to note that Seirei will Rank down difficult-to-fuse races, and you cannot fuse them with unique races at all.
