After defeating Ja-aku Frost, head back to Asakusa. Hijiri's gone mad and merged with the terminal! Follow him into the Amara Network to confront Isamu.

Alright, so you just took down Ja-aku Frost. He’s back to his normal, tiny self and rambling about wanting to be like King Frost. He melts away, leaving behind the Satan Magatama. Grab that and let’s head back to the Asakusa terminal.

Uh oh. Looks like Yuko, Isamu, and Chiaki aren’t the only ones who’ve gone a bit… strange. Hijiri’s decided to join the party, and he’s gotten way too cozy with the terminal. As you walk in, he’s practically fused with it, but he manages to pull himself away for a bit to give you a crazy speech. He greets you, mentions how rough Ikebukuro must have been with Gozu-Tenno back, and hopes it’s not causing you too much trouble.

Hijiri’s convinced he knows everything thanks to the terminal and the power of Amara. He’s seen Hikawa heading to the old Tokyo Diet for Magatsuhi, Chiaki absorbing Gozu-Tenno’s power, a temple full of Magatsuhi, and the Manekata looking for a Kotowari in Mifunashiro. He declares his investigation is over and that he should be the one to rebuild the world, not Hikawa, Yuko, or you. Just as he’s losing it, Isamu tries to pull him into the Amara Network. Hijiri fights back, but Isamu overpowers him and sucks him in. The game will ask if you want to follow him.

You don’t have to jump in right away! If you choose not to, a new option, “Chase after Hijiri,” will appear in the Terminal Menu. Go when you feel ready.

Now you’re in a room with Isamu. He asks why you’re here – are you here to see him, or worried about Hijiri?

• If you say you came to see Isamu, he’s happy you’re there. He tells you it’s almost time for the ceremony to summon the Guardian for Musubi. If you want to help, he says to head down the corridor to the Amara Temple. He’s heading there with “that meddler” and tells you to hurry.
• If you say you’re worried about Hijiri, Isamu comments on your trusting nature, saying he’s actually saving you from Hijiri’s manipulation. He tells you to come to the Amara Shrine at the end of the corridor if you want to learn the truth about Hijiri’s plans.

Isamu disappears. Head down the corridor. About halfway there, your old pal Spectre shows up AGAIN. He’s determined to kill anyone to reach his goal and declares he’s going to kill you this time to become happy!
