Alright, so you're looking to snag yourself a Graphorn mount in Hogwarts Legacy? Awesome choice! These beasts are pretty impressive. You won't be able to get your hands on one until you're pretty far into the main story, specifically during 'San Bakar's Trial.' This quest pops up around the 41st main story mission, which is about an hour or so before the game wraps up. During this trial, you'll actually face off against a Graphorn in a boss fight. Nail that fight, and you'll get to ride the beast and keep it as your mount for the rest of the game. The one you get here is a male, though, so if you want a female for breeding, you'll need to do a little extra work.

Walkthrough: Getting a Female Graphorn

1. Once you've finished up San Bakar's Trial, it's time to go hunting for a female Graphorn. Your best bet is to head back to a Graphorn den.
2. When you arrive at the den, be prepared for another fight. You'll need to take on the Graphorn that's there, which is pretty much a repeat of the boss battle from the trial.
3. Combat Tips: Keep an eye on its attacks and be ready to roll to dodge. Fire spells like Bombarda are super effective at subduing it.
4. After you've successfully knocked it down, whip out your Nab-sack. Use it to collect the beast, and then you can release it into one of your Vivariums.
5. Heads up: Spawning a female can take a few tries. It's not guaranteed on your first visit, so don't get discouraged if you don't find one right away. You might even get lucky and find a shiny Graphorn – they're the white ones! You can also try breeding for a shiny one later.
