How to Find All the Jackdaw Statues in the Owlery

Follow this guide to find all the Jackdaw Statues in the Owlery for the Ollivander's Heirloom quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Learn where to use Accio and Revellio!

Alright, so you've finished 'Secrets of the Restricted Section' and are ready for more main quests. After powering through 'Tomes and Tribulations', 'The Girl From Uagadou', and 'Trials of Merlin', you should get a new quest from Gerbold Ollivander. If it hasn't popped up yet, just keep playing through 'Herbology Class' and 'Potions Class' for a bit; it'll show up eventually. You'll get an owl post from Gerbold asking you to meet him at his shop in Hogsmeade. Just a heads-up, this quest is specifically for Ravenclaw students. If you're playing as another house, you'll get a different quest.

Once you agree to help Gerbold, he'll send you to the Hogwarts Owlery. You can fast travel to Hogsmeade, head into Ollivanders, and chat with him. Basically, Professor Fig is impressed with your artifact-finding skills from the last quest, and Gerbold wants to use your knack for retrieving missing items to track down a stolen wand.

After that chat, you'll be off to the Hogwarts Owlery, which is located west-southwest of the main school building. You'll need to climb a hill to get to the tower. Head inside and go up the spiral staircase. You'll find yourself in the main part of the Owlery, with tons of owl perches lining the walls. Some of these perches have coffers that are sealed shut. You'll need to use the Accio spell to pull them open and spill out their contents. Keep an eye out for Jackdaw Statues inside these coffers. Once they're out, you'll need to pick them up and place them on specific perches located to the northeast.

There are three Jackdaw Statues on the first floor. Make sure you open every single coffer, even the ones that don't seem to have statues, because they can also contain gold! If you're having trouble spotting them, use Revellio to highlight them. Once you've collected the three statues from the first floor, head up the ladder to the higher level. More coffers are waiting for you up there. Circle around the hole in the floor and open all the coffers you can find to uncover another two Jackdaw Statues. After that, climb back down, grab all the statues you've found, and place them on the northeastern wall.

Once you've solved Jackdaw's puzzle, you'll have a chat with the ghost of the prankster himself. He'll tell you he doesn't have the wand Ollivander is looking for, nor the pages you need, but he's willing to guide you to them. He'll ask you to meet him in the Forbidden Forest for the next main quest, 'Jackdaw's Rest'.
