Absconder Encounter: Heirloom Pocket Watch Location

Head to Aranshire and speak with Edgar Adley, located to the right of the Aranshire Floo Flame. He will explain that his friend Milo died in the Forbidden Forest trying to get Venom from an Acromantula and ask you to retrieve Milo's Heirloom Pocket Watch.

Travel to the Forbidden Forest. You can use the Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame or the Floo Flame at the entrance to the Forbidden Forest.

Along the way, you will encounter Dark Wizards, Poachers, Goblins, Spiders, and Wolves. Use your spells to exploit their weaknesses and gain experience points. Spam Revelio to find treasures.

Navigate the maze leading to Absconder’s Cave. Use fire Spells like Incendio and Confringo to clear webs blocking the path and defeat any Venomous Scurriours. Follow the map marker and torch-lit archways.

Upon arriving at Absconder’s Cave, save your game. Prepare for the boss fight against the Acromantula. Recommended spells include Incendio for crowd control, Confringo and Diffindo for long-range damage, and Arresto Momentum to slow the boss for combos and healing.

Defeat the Acromantula.

After the battle, enter the web-blocked room within Absconder’s Cave. The Heirloom Pocket Watch will be on the floor in front of a large chest containing Outland Duelling Gloves and a Tartan Sunrise Scarf.

Fast travel back to the Aranshire Floo Flame and return the Heirloom Pocket Watch to Edgar Adley.
