Struggling with Henrietta's Hideaway puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy? This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you rescue Rococo and complete the quest.

This page details how to solve the puzzles within Henrietta's Hideaway in Hogwarts Legacy, a quest that has confused many players. Follow these steps to overcome this challenge.

How To Start the Rescuing Rococo Quest:

After completing the Main Story Quest "The High Keep," speak with Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh, Manor Cape. Her pet Niffler, Rococo, has run away to Henrietta's Hideaway, and she needs your help to retrieve it.

How To Solve The First Henrietta’s Hideaway Puzzle:

Head to the West Manor Cape Floo Flame and fly southeast to Henrietta's Hideaway. Enter the location by going down the stairs next to a Merlin Trial. Inside, use a Fire Spell (like Confringo) on the bowl next to the statue on the left to reveal a Block with a Fire Symbol. Use Accio to move this Block onto the left tile. Then, use Confringo on the left block and Glacius on the right block to open a path to another room.

How To Solve The Second Henrietta’s Hideaway Puzzle:

Upon entering the next room, you will encounter Ashwinders with colored shields. Red shields require Damage Spells, Purple shields require Force Spells, and Yellow shields require Control Spells. Focus on defeating one enemy at a time. Watch for a yellow circle around your character, indicating an incoming attack, and use Protego followed by Stupefy to stun them.

After clearing the room, return to the first room and take the corridor to the right. Use Accio to grab the small brazier before the corner and pull it towards the wall until it is absorbed. Continue left to find some Chests. Go up the stairs, use Accio to lift the wooden beam, and break it to open the door.

In the room with the beam, use a Fire Spell on the bowl to the right of the Griffin Statue and step on the weight plate to cross. Shoot the blocks on the right side of the room to reveal another tile with a fire symbol. Use Accio to grab the block in the corner and place it on the plat. Shoot it with Incendio, then use the weight plate to return to the main room.

Descend the staircase directly opposite you and turn left to find a Block with an Ice Symbol. Use Accio to pull it through the gate and drop it onto the tile. Shoot it with Glacius to unlock a room containing a Chest. Return to the stairs and turn left to go down more stairs until you reach another gate.

Pull the distant block through the hole in the gate with Accio, then shoot it with Incendio once it's on the tile. Collect the Collection Chest. Go back to the main room and head up the stairs in the back left corner. Follow the path right until you find another small brazier. Pull it towards the wall with Accio until it's absorbed, then proceed to the opposite side where the third puzzle awaits.

How To Solve The Third Henrietta’s Hideaway Puzzle:

After clearing the room, approach the wall on the right side, which will open to reveal a Fire Block behind some barrels near the staircase. Use Accio to pick it up, take it upstairs, and walk through the wall to return to the main room. Drop the Block. Use Accio on the other block located on the platform on the opposite side of the room. Here, you will also find a Magical Map on a side table, which starts the quest "Solved by the Bell."

Place the blocks on their respective tiles and shoot them with the correct spells to open another door. Head down the stairs to find Rococo the Niffler. Use the Nab-Sack to rescue it. Open the nearby Chest, then step on the weighted plat to return to the first room and exit. Finally, return to Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh to complete the quest.
