How To Solve The Butterfly Puzzle

Start the Quest: Ensure you have Alohomora Level 3 (unlocked by completing "The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament" and finding 22 Demiguise Statues). After completing the Main Quest "The Helm of Urtkot," travel to the West Manor Cape Floo Flame.

Find the Old Manor: Fly northeast from the Floo Flame to the Old Manor. Enter the destroyed building and go downstairs to find a door with a Level 3 Lock.

Unlock the Door & Get the Map: Use Alohomora Level 3 to unlock the door. Follow the corridor and go down another set of stairs. In the large open room, find a chest with a Level 1 lock in the back corner. Open it to receive the Mysterious Map Fragment and begin the Cursed Tomb Treasure Quest.

Locate the Tomb of Treachery: The map fragment points to the Tomb of Treachery, located between the Coastal Cavern and Poidsear Coast.

Navigate the Tomb: Enter the tomb and follow the narrow path. At a dead end, use Confringo on the webs to the left and continue down the path until you reach the butterfly puzzle room.

Solve the Butterfly Puzzle: Enter the room on the right. Shoot the butterfly on the left with Confringo to clear more webs. Use Lumos and guide both butterflies to the door in the other room.

Second Butterfly: To find the third butterfly, open the room to the left by shooting the webs with Confringo. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the block to the left and move it closer to the back wall. Climb up to find the butterfly in the corner. Use Lumos to bring it back to the door.

Defeat the Inferius: Once the door is unlocked, enter the next room. You will be attacked by multiple Inferius. Use fire-based spells like Confringo or Incendio to defeat them. Focus on one enemy at a time to avoid being overwhelmed.

Reveal the Treasure: After clearing the room, nine stone tiles will appear in the center. Equip Flipendo. Stand in the northeast corner and use Flipendo on the following tiles: Bottom Left, Bottom Right, and Top Middle.

Claim Your Reward: A chest will rise from the ground. Open it to receive the Treasure-Seeker’s Attire, completing the quest.
