Astronomy Class

If you haven't already, fast travel to the Charms Class Floo Flame, ascend the spiral stairwell, and continue to the top floor of the Astronomy Tower. Look for blue walls with gold stars and constellations, and Astronomy tapestry hangings to confirm you're in the right location.

Wait for the class to begin in the evening.

After Professor Shah's introduction, head to the observation deck.

Use the provided telescope and follow the on-screen prompts to focus on a constellation using the R-Stick.

Speak with Amit Thakkar.

Locate Amit's old telescope on a circular table below the observation deck.

Ignite the dragon font nearby with a fire spell to reveal a Field Guide page.

Open the chest to the left of the table to collect 43 gold.

Return to Professor Shah and choose a dialogue option: "Thank you for your insights," "I notice you dismissed Divination. Why?," or "What are Astronomy Tables?"

Follow Amit Thakkar towards the castle walls to find an Astronomy Table.

Clear spider webs blocking the path using a fire spell.

Locate the Astronomy Table outside.

Place the telescope onto the table's support by pressing Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox/PC).

Use the controls to align the telescope with the constellation:

• L-Stick: Point the telescope.

R-Stick: Rotate the telescope.

R2/L2 (PlayStation) or LT/RT (Xbox/PC): Zoom in and out.

Circle (PlayStation) or B (Xbox/PC): Exit the Astronomy Table.

Match the constellation pictures on the lens with the stars above by rotating and zooming. A good method is to align the large circle with the largest star in the constellation.
