The Tale Of Rowland Oakes

Fast travel to the Transfiguration Courtyard using the Floo Flame. Speak with Adelaide Oakes to begin the quest.

Fast travel to the Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame and head west on a mount or broom towards Rowland Oakes’ campsite.

Defeat the Loyalist Goblins guarding the campsite. Use Revelio to find treasures, including 63 gold and the Venom III collection item in the tent.

Locate Rowland Oakes’ Journal under a wood shelter to the west, near a rock wall.

The journal contains a hand-drawn map pointing towards Korrow Ruins. From your current location, head west towards Korrow Ruins.

Make a waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) to Korrow Ruins to easily find the entrance.

Clear out the Loyalists in the main hall of Korrow Ruins.

Use Alohomora to unlock the Level 1 Goblin metal door to the North. Defeat the Loyalist inside and collect the chest containing 59 gold.

Return to the main hall and head south through ruined walls to another hall. Defeat the Loyalist Warriors and Loyalist Sentinels.

Head east to a statue with a pyre bowl. Use Incendio to light the bowl, opening a secret passageway.

Enter the passageway to find a private room with a chest and a Wiggenweld Potion.

Head south into a grand hall with a goddess-like statue. Defeat the numerous Loyalists, using exploding crates for assistance.

In the room with the goddess statue, turn west into a small candle-lit room. Find Rowland Oakes’ wand on the table.

Return to the main hall entrance steps and take a left to the balcony. Go through the second doorway, continuing past what looks like a wall, to find a Wiggenweld Potion and a chest with gold.

Head down the right-hand side south passage into the undercroft, which is a dungeon.

Defeat the Loyalist Assassins in the undercroft.

Approach the automatic Goblin metal door to find Rowland Oakes.

Speak with Rowland Oakes and give him his wand to unlock the enchanted door.

After a short conversation, the quest is complete.
