Where to Get Potions: First things first, you'll need the potions. The easiest way is to head over to J. Pippin's Potions shop in Hogsmeade. You can buy the Invisibility Potion and the Thunderbrew Potion directly. Each one costs 500 gold, so be prepared to spend 1,000 gold in total. If you're a bit short on Galleons, don't worry! You can sell some old gear you don't need, or go on a treasure hunt for Eye Chests. These chests are scattered around Hogsmeade, and if you use Revelio, you can spot them. To open them, you'll need to use the Disillusionment Charm (your invisibility spell) so the eye doesn't see you. Each Eye Chest usually gives you 500 gold, which is perfect for this assignment.

Using the Invisibility Potion: Once you've got the Invisibility Potion, you can use it right away. There aren't any special requirements for this one. Just equip it and use it! Keep in mind, it only lasts for a few seconds before you become visible again. Honestly, the Disillusionment Charm is a bit more effective for staying hidden longer.

Using the Thunderbrew Potion: For the Thunderbrew Potion, you'll need to find some enemies. A good spot is to head west from Hogsmeade towards the Forbidden Forest. You'll likely run into Poachers, Spiders, and Mongrels there. When you drink the Thunderbrew Potion, it creates a mini thunderstorm around you for about 30 seconds. It's great for stunning and damaging enemies in the vicinity, but the area of effect isn't huge, so try to get up close and personal with your targets for it to be most effective.

Returning to Professor Sharp: After you've successfully used both potions, make your way back to Professor Sharp in the Potions Classroom. Let him know you've completed the tasks, and he'll teach you the Diffindo spell. This is a long-range offensive spell that shoots a bright slash of white light, perfect for dealing slashing damage from a distance.
