Win Summoner's Court 2 in Hogwarts Legacy Guide

To start the Summoner's Court 2 side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first complete Summoner's Court: Match 1 and then Percival Rackham's Trial. After these are done, travel to the Flying Class Lawn Floo Flame in The Bell Tower Wing. The Summoner's Court board will be set up, and Samantha Dale will be waiting as your new challenger.

Talk to Samantha Dale to begin. The rules are similar to the first match: use the Accio spell to pull balls across the board. Points are awarded based on the color of the segment the ball comes to rest in:

Red - 10pts
Yellow - 20pts
Green - 30pts
Blue - 50pts

This match introduces two distortion fields on the board. These fields pull balls towards their center, affecting their momentum. Treat them like gravity wells; balls will orbit the center before settling, or potentially being thrown off the board. You can thread balls around these fields by maintaining control of your Accio spell. Losing control or stopping near the edge of a distortion field can result in a poor score, which you cannot afford as Samantha will likely score 100 points.

Samantha's first pull often demonstrates the distortion field's effect, likely landing in the rightmost field for around 20 points.

The key strategy is to pull all balls BETWEEN the two distortion fields as much as possible. Avoid the right side of the board and do not let your balls enter the left distortion field.

This is an idealized strategy, as balls will clutter the court. A compromise is to pull balls through the left edge of the right distortion field, staying away from its center.

Samantha's first ball may land in the center of a distortion field, making it easier to pull your balls to its left.

Maintain control with Accio until the ball has mostly cleared the distortion field to avoid it being sent astray. Aim for at least a 30-point play on the green sector.

If your new ball collides with an older one, it might nudge it into a better position and prevent you from over-pulling.

You will likely need at least one blue (50-point) ball to beat Samantha, who is expected to score around 100 points.

Tips

Focus on pulling balls to the left of Samantha's first ball, especially if it's caught in a distortion field.
Don't be afraid to use Accio until the ball is well past the distortion field's influence.
Collisions between balls can be beneficial for positioning.
Aim for high-scoring segments (green and blue) to secure the win.
